Marie Martens and Mississippi Overdrive
All the way from Stockholm Sweden Marie Martens is a powerful slide guitar player that has been captivating audiences throughout the Midwest. Marie has toured Europe and Japan and now makes her home in Southeast Wisconsin. Her blues are a twist of traditional roots with a teaspoon of rock n roll. Accompanied by the juke joint rythym section Mississippi Overdrive Jim Billmeier on bass and Jefferson JB Blum on drums. Both Jim and JB have played extensively throughout the country sharing the stage with many blues legends from Chicago to Memphis to Mississippi.
