After the Floods is an indie/punk rock band based out of Appleton, Wisconsin. They're a fairly new band to the music scene with tracks resembling a mix of popular bands today.

Their "About Us" Section Reads:

Formed in early 2006, when 4 members from other bands came together. They had one thing in common. They wanted to ROCK... and bring that music scene that once was, back to life. Discovering each other was the best thing to happen. With a chemistry they all felt right off the bat, a thought that this could be something good, became apparent. Creating an environment where they are not held back by anything they let creativity in on their music. Hammering out new songs and getting the A set list together, these guys are ready to finish their mission..TO ROCK!!! With heavy hitting guitar riffs, and sweet slap-you-in-your-face melodies..mixed with a hard driven, out-of-this-world drum and a ball-breakin a$$-shaking bass, these guys are nothing to miss.

Their music reminds me of someone that escapes my mind at this time, though something about their sound is original and hard to pin point to a certain genre. Have a listen for yourself and let us know what you think of AFTER THE FLOODS.
