I'm Keith from Sussex, Wisconsin - a listener....
I'll start the introductions.
I'm Keith. Had some guitar lessons as a kid and got one as a gift a couple of Christmas's ago. Hope to take it up again. Love to listen. Eclectic tastes, mostly mainstream popular stuff.
I'm the publisher of theBubbler.com and all the WisNetwork.com sites, including this one.
Besides music, I like reading, writing, speaking, beer, video, sales and marketing, poker and sheepshead, canoeing and camping, woodworking and building and more. I'm a member of the Lannon Lion's Club and a couple of healthcare PR & Marketing societies. I also host the Communicators Networking Group monthly luncheon and have been involved in Scouting.
You'll see a bunch of videos I've helped with or sponsored, including videos of Wisconsin musicians, at www.WisTube.com, a kind of 'YouTube' for Wisconsin. Love the State and look forward to helping enable a great music scene here.
Regards,
Keith

welcome oh great one!!
Now that you have made several postings I have a few questins.
I am assuming that the posting status will be as follows.
1/16 note-16 postings
1/8 note-32 postings
1/4 note-64 postings
1/2-128 postings
full note-256 postings
I know it will take a long time before we get to a full note around here so I figure there is plenty of time to inquire what would be beyond that.
how about the Rep Power status, How is that derived?

so Keith what brand of guitar do you now own?
I currently have 3 acoustic guitars.
a Koreian made forgot the name not important. It has a Gratefull Dead stcker on it so that makes it cool for hanging on a wall! hahaha
I also have a Fender USA made small size acoustic that only sounds good with silkNsteel strings. The last time I bought strings for this guitar I had to go online because none of the locals carry silkNsteel since they closed the Gilmour Bros in Appleton.
I also have a 60's, yes that old Harmony Broadyway Archtop acoustic guitar. This guitar does not have much for sound but is a collector and is AWESOME for wall haning.
So do you ever jam Keith? are you ja--------min'

Hohner?
I'll have to look at my acoustic guitar to tell you what it is for sure. My son keeps borrowing it - he plays, so that's cool.

After whole notes, we move on into dynamics. I've only got up to 5200+ posts set up for user titles. I expect that should hold us for a good long time
Rep power is based on three things: the number of posts you make, how long you've been a member, and how much rep you get from other people. I haven't changed any of the rep titles or default values because I wanted to see how we use it first, so that when I do customize it, it's appropriate to the site. Right now you get a point every thirty days and every ten posts, and you can alter other people's reputations no more than 1 pt per 35pts you have. That might change in the future if the numbers need to be rebalanced, but so far it seems to be working out ok.
