I'll start the introductions....
I'm keith. Born in Oconomowoc. Lived in over 100 places in Southeastern Wisconsin. I like to think I'm a Wisconsin booster. We're celebrating the 10th birthday of Wisconsin's #1 online guide and directory, www.theBubbler.com, with the launch of this sister site - WisMusic.com. I'm the chief cook and bottle washer.
I'm a music fan. Find myself listening more than I have in years since getting iTunes <free at www.iTunes.com > on the laptop at work.
I envy people who know the language of music. A universal language, but I can only hear it, not 'speak' it.
Best drug in the world, music is.
My tastes are eclectic. There's not a lot I don't like. Some of those dislikes might just be because I don't know that music well. Didn't care for rap at all till I came across some nuggets, free from iTunes.
I'm looking forward to meeting Wisconsin Music fans and performers here, and to making a great community for Wisconsin Music lovers.
Regards,
Keith

Hello
Hi I'm Mike. I live in Menomonee Falls and work with Keith @ OnYourMark, LLC.
I wasn't really into music until my friend (also named Mike) turned me on to ACDC. After that I just kept listening to more and more things.
I'm a big fan of Rock, Heavy Metal, and some Rap.

Hallo hallo hallo!
I'm your webmaster.
I was born a musician. My parents are musicians, and I spent a large chunk of my childhood on the road touring with them. Music has always been the largest part of my life.
I've been contemplating starting a site like this one for several years now, and we've got a lot of enhancements already in the works. My goal is for WisMusic to be the most usable and most used music site in Wisconsin, a place for musicians, music teachers, music students and music lovers to come together.
I hope you'll find the site both fun and informational, and I hope you'll stick with us as the site grows.

Hi ya
I'm stoney I quoted the parts of keiths posting I feel the same way about.
Now I am no iTune man as I am still back in the mp3 statge of digitized music.
Some say mp3's are the best thing that happened to music while others say it will be the demise. I think the rules need to be re-written.
I too think music is a drug and as much as I would love to play it, well it just never worked out.
I do like my digital music player as I can put headphones on play a low volume so I can still carry on a light conversation or be aware of what is going on around me, but then for brief momoents I can escape into the muisc and no one else has to hear or be involved or even know whats going on.
I wonder why a digital muisc player has done this when for years we had cassettes but I am guessing size and quanity of music is the big difference. I can carry may cd's worth of music in my shirt pocket where it would take a case to hold all thoses tapes or cd's.
I know there are many many many talented Wisconsin musicians out there and I hope they all join here and share.
Good job keith keep it going.

No moving parts with an mp3. no records to scratch, or tapes to go tight.
I'm Mark. I hail from between the lakes, (Winnebago, and Michigan). I play some harmonica. Some folks can hear it, and some can't. I mostly just fool around with some home cooked blues.
I did a short stint as a inhouse DJ. Bar/Dance club/Ski Area sort of place. Hosted several bands at the place. All fun.
I brought my 'axe', so I'll just sit in. Maybe we can get a 'jam session' going here. Tunes always draw a crowd.

I love AC/DC!!! I listen to a wide variety of music.
AC/DC, Lynard Skynard, Ted Nugent, The Doors, The Who, Toby Keith, Tim McGraw, Sugarland, Keith Urban, Rascal Flats, Straycats, Drop Dead Fred, Jimmy Buffet, The Eagles, The Happy Schnapps....just to name a few. I also like Blue Grass and Harmonica Music.
Recently attended the Keith Anderson Concert in Waukesha and my daughter won an electric guitar. Now I'm looking into her taking some lessons.

Hey Mark if you know how to overdub and add to a digital file, I have a baudy blues tune that is just begging for some harp.
let me know and I digitize it and post it on beanpod for you to download.
But if you get insulted by baudy nevermind, just say pass.
