The Balance

The Balance is something I have to make a conscious effort to maintain. The yin yang.
I play some harmonica, usually when there's nobody around to yell at me. Harmonicas fit in the pocket better than pianos.
I play from the 5th chakra. Some folks hear it, some don't. I can even find a harmonica riff in a rap....song .
I also enjoy polkas, but would never comprises the integrity of a polka with harmonica

Do you know of any Wisconsin bands or venues I haven't listed yet? Would love your input - I feel like I'm being a bit biased with my postings and want to make sure I accommodate all tastes.

I been around a while
This I can tell ya
but never have I heard
any 5th Cha...k... ra

I did not know the 1st four either
I must have been way too busy
watching Leave it to Beaver

so I googled it online
just to ease my mind
I discovered that chakra
was not hard to find

there are many models
Hindu ,Tantric, chinese
and more
they all mention Balance
I need to explore

so now I must tell
I don't want to be crass
but all this time in my 1st Chakra
I thought it was gas

you may think I'm simple
or you may think I'm dumb
but now I know
where my talent comes from

Nice bit, Stoney!
I played a set with a band, "up nort", this past weekend. A little spot in Aurora Wisconsin, called "The Hitchin' Post".
I'm not sure of any appearances I'll be doing locally....it's generally a really spontaneous thing. I'll try to keep you informed.
