I found a great new way to get my music fix without having to peer over shelves of cd's at my public library.
My local library has it's catalog online and I can make selections from what is avaiable and have then set aside for my pick-up.
A w e s o m e and very convenient.
So last night I picked up my selections and am listening to them today.
I got the boomers last releases.
Neil Young
Tom Petty and
The Who.
Now I am at work and maybe distarcted buy that but nothing stuck out like a wow song to me. They all seemed to be flat. I heard the Who release was to have more acoustic than ever but nothing hit me as a ground breaker.
The same goes for Tom Petty. I was disalussioned and I am not sure why, just my take.
Neil Young was very drab for such a controverial subject. It all seemed so,the same for every track.
I think if I bought these cd's I would be upset but I listened for FREE!!!!!!
Now this is my take don't let that stop you from giving each of these cd's a listen.
Neil Young-Living with war
The Who-Endlesswire
Tom Petty-Highway companion:
