Alter Bridge!!

Okay, this band isn't specifically from Wisconsin, but they do have some minor ties... Alter Bridge, for those who don't know, is a very popular rock band from Florida. 3 of the band's members, guitar player Mark Tremonti, bass player Brian Marshall, and drummer Scott Phillips, used to be in the hugely successful band Creed. After breaking up with Creed's singer Scott Stapp, the three guys found a new singer, Myles Kennedy formerly of The Mayfield Four, and formed Alter Bridge.

The band has just recently finished recording their second album, Blackbird, which is due out October 9th. Their first album, One Day Remains, was a solid modern rock album with tremendous vocals and rip-roaring guitars.

Just to make this a link to Milwaukee and Wisconsin -- back during the Creed years, the first city to play Creed outside of Florida was Lazer 103 in Milwaukee (102.9 FM).
