Wisconsin Modifies Child Labor Law So 8-Year-Old Guitar Prodigy Can Play Blues

Tallan Latz, known as "T-Man," began playing guitar when he was 5. He now is a featured guitarist in two bands. He has played at Summerfest, the House of Blues in Chicago and several bars and nightclubs.

But before his last visit to the Lil Downtown Lounge in suburban Milwaukee, the state Equal Rights Division received an anonymous complaint that "T-Man's" bar and nightclub performances violated a state child labor law.
