Any good music chart sites out there? - WisMusic

http://www.popculturemadness.com is the best I've found to help me put together a personal playlist.

Billboard.com sucks, showing the top 5 albums per year and wanting a subscription to get anything further.

Rolling Stone never came up on the first few pages of any of my searches. Funny, because they've done some great lists, like the top 500 rock albums of all time.

So, any other suggestions?

Click on "Pop Music" in a primary menu bar across the upper part of the page.

I'd give a direct link if there was one to the 'Pop Music' page. Here's one for "1989" (for no particular reason): http://www.popculturemadness.com/Mus...dern/1989.html

You'll find all the years from now back to 1920, year by year, with the top pop hits of each year listed in order of popularity. There are even links back to 1900s, and 1910s, and even an 1800s hits.
