I was searching for a track list for Blind Willie Mc Tell CD when I can across this fan web site , it was to list lyrics to song by Korn titled "Blind Willie Mc Tell"
I thought this might be iteresting and wondered how they differed from Bob Dylan's song of the same title.

Does this makes sense to inhibit a fan site?

Looks like maybe there might be some copyright issues. If ther writer/composer doesn't wanttheir lyrics posted on an "unofficial" fan site, then, bye golly, it won't be.

I would say if the unofficial site was bashing the artist , then yes, prevent posting but anything else is simply providing the artist with more exposure.
The more sites that pertain to anything the better chance you have in gaining more customers and more revenue. Creating a web site is time consuming, effort like that should be exalted NOT criticized.

and you are probably correct about the copyright issue. it probably was not written by the offended artist.
