Green Bay Woman Poses As Daughter, Enrolls In School

GREEN BAY — A 33-year-old Ashwaubenon woman enrolled at Ashwaubenon High School posing as her 15-year-old daughter, authorities said today. The woman attended at least one day of classes, said Ashwaubenon Public Safety Lt. Jody Crocker. She has not yet been charged with a crime in connection to the incident. “She made at least the first day at school,” Crocker said. “She was caught because she was truant.” The woman’s daughter lives out of state, authorities said. Ashwaubenon investigators plan to refer the woman to prosecutors and recommend charges of identity theft, forgery, criminal trespassing and disorderly conduct.
