What are you listening to now?
I recently picked up the most recent P!nk album on iTunes, an older Funker Vogt and some Mankind is Obsolete.
I subscribe to a podcast called "IndieFeed" that has a couple different channels. I got a song off the Alternative feed by a band named Popjoy that I've been playing on repeat alot too.
What are you listening to?

I have gone to retro-casstte
I actaully have pulled out some old casstttes and started listening to them on my way into work. It has been a mix from Short Stuff to Otis Redding to Carlos Santana to Utah Saints house music and back to ole Neil Young's Harvest Moon
Some day they will all be digitized, when I have some time to convert them .........as if I will ever have that much time

That's quite a spread from Utah Saints to Neil Young
I'm kind of worried about playing my tapes too much anymore because they're gonna break one of these times. No option for digitizing them for me though, short of buying them on a cd or as an mp3.
When I do listen to my tapes though, I find that I listen to Sting's Brand New Day and the Mission Impossible 1 soundtrack an awful lot, especially while I'm cooking. I don't know why, but they're good cooking music.

In my cd player...
I've fallen in love with 30 Seconds to Mars... their music is a little emo-but the lyrics are impressive.
In my cd player now is the OneRepublic cd... they just recently performed on an episode of So You Think You Can Dance Season 3 during a results show. Also great lyrics... Highly encourage listening to the song "Apologize" and "So Long Apathy"
Obviously a big fan of Dave Matthews Band as I mentioned before - and really like O.A.R (they're GREAT in concert!)
There's a lot of really cool new stuff coming out - there's so much variety and different approaches to music.. I like it all!

Talking Heads, George Harrison, Grateful Dead, Johnny Cash...I can find a groove in most any music I listen to. I can even get a harmonica riff going to a rap tune. I'm self trained on the harp (mouth organ).
It's all blues to me.

Thanks for the poetic interlude, Stoney.
At present, I'm listening to Lynard Skynard, with some Rolling Stones breaking in.

well...
Per my new responsibility of posting Wisconsin musicians and venues.. I've begun listening to quite a few of the up-and-coming Wisconsin musicians. I'm going through an "Indie" phase at the moment.. and as well as listening to the Wisconsin bands I've been listening to a lot of Imogen Heap, The Postal Service, Death Cab for Cutie, etc. etc. Mixed cds are my new favorite thing in my car and my friends have enjoyed copies of their own. There's just so much amazing music out there!!

Indie can be great,
Most have a tough road to hoe as they will tell you the bar crowd LOVES covers and tends to reject originals.
I am still in the cassatte mode
with a band not many have heard of for a while "Short stuff"
They ЯΨΗЌ!!!
Now I have seen them reunited a few years ago(Summer Fest) and it was sweet and yes you still can see Jim Liban, but it's NOT the same ( Sorry Jim)
I need to digitize this tape I have so I can play anytime.
