Found This In My Laundry Basket This Morning
I still had a few clean clothes in the laundry basket this morning and reached in to take them out when I heard this hit the bottom of the basket... I'm not sure if you can get the scale, but it was pretty darn big (over 2 inches or so)! I looked on the web for common Missouri spiders and couldn't find any that looked like this...

Looks like a wolf spider. That's were I'd start researching it anyway. I saw one like that at work the other day and was also about the same size. They are pretty frequent here around Texas/Arkansas, so they're probably pretty common in the Missouri area as well. And I really hate spiders with a passion lol.

Yeah, thanks.. turns out it is a Striped (or Rabid) Wolf Spider.. I actually saw another one on my patio about 2:30 am last night making a beeline for my door before my neighbor stomped on it. Wonder if it was the same one.
