Default Dinner and After

Inserting Patsy Cline, Walking After Midnight after Jim Reeves.

Matt from Music Masters is telling me that the 6pm buffet will start at more like 6:30, so here's another 1/2 hour block.

Here's another half hour block - sang these every morning during my paper route at 5:30 am with the world's first boom box, my RCA 12 Volt Transistor Radio

Gary Puckett & the Union Gap, Woman, Woman and Young Girl
Brooklyn Bridge, The Worst That Could Happen
The Turtles, Happy Together, She'd Rather Be With Me
Dave Clark Five, Bits 'n Pieces
Four Tops, Baby I Need Your Lovin
Lovin Spoonful, Summer in the City
The Byrds Turn, Turn, Turn
Brian Highland, Sealed With A Kiss

OK, during Dinner, songs from my early teens:

How about the first five singles I bought in 7th grade:

Sonny James, Running Bear
The Five Stairsteps, Ooh-ooh Child
Brotherhood of Man, United We Stand
Freda Payne, Band of Gold
Jaggerz, The Rapper

And the Title song of my first album, Simon & Garfunkels' Sounds of Silence

Along with S&G, I did a report in music on Yesterday by the Beatles
Now, some of the stuff that was "edgy" at the time:

Bob Dylan, Blowin' in the Wind
Jimi Hendrix, All Along the Watchtower
Santana, Black Magic Woman
Rolling Stones, You Can't Always Get What You Want

Next block: My first concert:

Phoebe Snow warmed up for the main act. We'll do Poetry Man, even though it came later.

The Main Act: Van Morrison

Moon Dance, Brown-Eyed Girl, Wild Night, Domino

And now I really started to invest in albums.

The Top Three Artists I collected:

The Beatles: Twist 'n Shout, Come Together, Act Naturally

Jethro Tull: Locomotive Breath

Cat Stevens: But the heck with him.

That's it for now. Will complete this thread soon.

Thanks, Matt from www.MusicMastersEntertainment.com ! Matt's been hanging out with me the last couple of hours to put this together and I'm totally impressed! 80,000 songs digitally, besides the karaoke stuff! And the one or two he might not have, he's getting for me. (Locomotive Breath!)

I'll be back on this thread and Matt's calling on me again by Thursday.

Regards,
Keith
