I used to see Soup play all the time at the Quarry in Appleton. My favorite place in the area. Doug Yankus was amazing! Sometimes they'd alternate sets with Cheese, if anybody remembers them.
I also liked The Cobblers who were from Oshkosh where I lived. They later became Blue Tail Fly and I last saw them in Madison in the early seventies.
